expecting parents pose under trees in Rankin Lake Park

June 22, 2021

There’s nothing like being a part of my clients’ lives beyond their wedding day. I am honored to create such special bonds with my couples each year and it doesn’t escape me how meaningful these relationships are every year. Janice and Matt are one of those couples. I’ve known them for many years now, I […]

I just love Emily and DJ! A few years ago, I captured their anniversary session, so I was thrilled when they reached out about more portraits together. This time, they wanted Downtown Mooresville portraits, and I couldn’t wait since I haven’t done a lot of exploring in this area. Now, after capturing their session there, […]

grad poses by dog statue at NC State Vet School

June 1, 2021

These NC State graduation portraits are so special to me because I’ve known Skylare since elementary school! Although it had been years since we’d seen each other in person, I was absolutely honored when she reached out about portraits to celebrate her graduation from Veterinary School at NC State. I am constantly blown away by […]

family poses with birthday guest during Hotel Concord birthday party

May 6, 2021

Today’s blog is a SUPER fun one! I’m sharing Wilson’s Great Gatsby birthday party at The Hotel Concord with you today. After a crazy year with very few events and celebrations, Wilson’s mom and family wanted to plan something special for him to celebrate his 21st birthday. They decided on a party at The Hotel […]

couple walks through woods in Glencairn Gardens in Rockhill SC

May 4, 2021

Lindsay and Bennett are so cute together! We met up for their springtime Glencairn Garden engagement session in Rock Hill, SC recently and I loved getting to know them better. They actually found me through Lindsay’s sister, Kacie, who did senior pictures a few years back. I love when I get to work with families […]

Sydney and James had the most fun and playful Camp North End engagement session here in Charlotte, NC. They’re honestly some of the sweetest people I’ve gotten to photograph and I feel really lucky that they chose me to capture these special memories! Sydney is a wedding vendor friend of mine and even worked at […]

December 12, 2017

Ohhh you guys, how is it already December?! This is crazy!!! Where did 2017 go?! Is anyone else feeling like this? I can’t be the only one. I love this time of year sooo much. Not just because of Christmastime (although that is a HUGE reason I love this season), but also because it’s the […]

When Macayla contacted me about doing her graduation portraits at NC State, I was thrilled!!! We actually met at our dance studio SO long ago! I believe we were about 4 or 5 years old when we met! So crazy! I hadn’t seen her in years and it was great to catch up not only with her, but with her sweet mom and aunt as well!

Believe it or not, I had never visited NC State’s campus! I’ve been to Raleigh quite a bit for weddings, but not really ever for portraits. Macayla actually gives tours of campus, so she was able to show me around like no one else would have been able to, and answer all of my questions! 🙂
