Sydney and James had the most fun and playful Camp North End engagement session here in Charlotte, NC. They’re honestly some of the sweetest people I’ve gotten to photograph and I feel really lucky that they chose me to capture these special memories! Sydney is a wedding vendor friend of mine and even worked at MY wedding venue when I got married, so capturing her special day has been extra meaningful too!
Camp North End Engagement Session
I absolutely love Camp North End – it’s a really amazing spot near Uptown Charlotte that I don’t get to often enough. So, I was really excited when they decided to have their portraits done here! Sydney and James brought their dog Mattis along for some of their portraits. And seriously, I think Mattis stole the show in every image!! Camp North End is really neat because there’s just such a wide variety of locations. We started along one of the warehouse buildings that’s got a super industrial feel. Then we began wandering a bit more before their outfit change. Have I mentioned I LOVE Sydney’s style? She brought some great outfits with pops of color and looked amazing in everything!
Before we headed to Jeni’s Ice Creams, Sydney and James popped open a bottle of champagne to celebrate their engagement. It’s always so much fun to watch and capture the reactions around champagne popping, ha!! After they enjoyed a little of the bottle, we headed to get ice cream. Sydney and James treated me to a cone (which I can’t thank them enough for!!) and it was just delicious! I love the images them enjoying their ice cream. It’s so natural and relaxed – which is what I want for all of my couples! Congratulations again, Sydney and James!
