Tory and Colton are truly a DREAM to work with. Not only are they stylish, they’re so sweet and just wonderful people. Throughout this whole pandemic, they’ve been dealing with the stress of planning a wedding and have truly handled it with such class. We met up in the heart of uptown Charlotte for their Romare Bearden Park Engagement session. Now, I can’t wait for you to see these beautiful portraits!

Romare Bearden Park Engagement Session

For their Romare Bearden Park Engagement session, we had the most GORGEOUS weather! I’m so glad – you never know how it will be… but we lucked out. The majority of our session was spent exploring Romare Bearden Park. It’s definitely one of my favorite spaces in Charlotte!! After our time the park, we walked over towards the Mint Museum for a few more portraits. Truthfully, it’s such a nice contrast to the open park. And, surprisingly, we had most of the space to ourselves throughout the day… except for one guy who was really interested in what we were doing, ha! Honestly, it really was the perfect day to enjoy time with Tory and Colton!

A Separk Mansion Wedding

For many brides and grooms, this pandemic has caused major stress over planning their weddings. It’s been no different for Tory and Colton. My heart goes out to all of my couples struggling with planning in the middle of this mess!!! But, Tory has been handling all of the ups and downs of these adjustments with so much grace. I’m honestly impressed – I never would have handled it this well! They’ll be getting married this Saturday at Separk Mansion and I know they can’t wait! Honestly, I can’t wait to see everything come together! Especially their outfits… these two have amazing style and I know their wedding day will be no different!! Congratulations again Tory and Colton! I can’t wait to see you SO soon!
