Sometimes you just meet people that you know you were meant to meet. For me, those people were Kathryn and James. I absolutely love these two and I’m going to miss working with them so much now that their are literally my dream clients – I will miss them so much now that their Farm at Brusharbor wedding day has come and gone. But, in the meantime, I cannot wait to share their day with you!
Getting Ready
The day started with Kathryn and James getting ready. Since all of their bridal party was family, they had so much fun just being with them all day. And they were amazing to me – I can’t thank them enough for that!! This wonderful couple opted to not do a first look. Instead, they exchanged gifts! I loved watching them each open the gift from the others. James was given a stunning watch. And Kathryn received Disney jewelry from both her dad and James! I think they know her pretty well… The jewelry paired perfectly with all of the other Disney inspired wedding details, like Kathryn’s tiara and incredible shoes!
The Ceremony
For Kathryn and James, meeting at the altar at The Farm at Brusharbor was emotional! James cried a little bit when he saw Kathryn walking down the aisle. It was so special! And it was a good reminder to me to make your wedding day what YOU want – first look or not, special ceremony inspiration or not. The Farm at Brusharbor has such a gorgeous covered ceremony option. All of the extra greenery and flowers just brought it to life for Kathryn and James!! Believe it or not, most of the decor for the day was done by Kathryn’s mom… she’s amazing!
Wedding Photos at The Farm at Brusharbor
After their ceremony, it was time to explore the Farm at Brusharbor for their wedding portraits. Kathryn and James just couldn’t stop smiling and enjoying the time together…. and I don’t blame them. I LOVE seeing my clients relax and enjoy themselves during their portraits. After all, they’re officially married! For some of their portraits, their dog Kovu made an appearance. This was the third time I’d met this little guy and I was so happy to see him again!! As the sun began to sink lower, we wrapped up our portraits and headed back for their reception.
Their reception was one for the books! Everyone they invited was definitely a dancer, so they had a great time partying together. And when everyone was all partied out, Kathryn and James left with a sparkler exit! I always think it’s such a fun way to end your wedding night! The best part of the night was when the newlyweds left in a ’55 Chevy! It was the same car we used for our wedding, so that was SUPER special to me – what a sweet moment.
Congratulations again, Kathryn and James! You had a truly beautiful fall wedding at The Farm at Brusharbor!
