Today’s blog is a SUPER fun one! I’m sharing Wilson’s Great Gatsby birthday party at The Hotel Concord with you today. After a crazy year with very few events and celebrations, Wilson’s mom and family wanted to plan something special for him to celebrate his 21st birthday. They decided on a party at The Hotel Concord in Concord NC in a Great Gatsby theme. Their incredible vendors brought together a ridiculously fun night full of lots of Roaring 20’s details that I was just honored to photograph!

Wilson’s mom invited the entire family to come to his party – and they definitely showed up! I’m still so in awe of the costumes and outfits they all put together to celebrate Wilson. Everyone had a great time getting into the theme and it was seriously amazing. I loved capturing the entire family together in the ballroom. Not only were the outfits fun to see together, but The Hotel Concord is literally the perfect place for a party like this one.

Honestly, it’s one of my all-time favorite venues in the area. There’s so much character in the entire space from the floor tiles to the light fixtures. And then when you add in themed tables and centerpieces with big feathers, you can’t help but feel like you really are back in the 1920’s! Wilson’s mom truly thought of everything to bring this Great Gatsby birthday party to life. And PS – I’m OBSESSED with her outfit!!! She nailed it!

The entire family enjoyed having time together to relax and eat a delicious meal from PB and J’s Catering. Afterwards, they had fun out on the dance floor, partying the night away and celebrating Wilson. Near the end of the night, he was able to cut into the amazing cake from Sweet Life Bakery! I know we were all excited for that moment. Happy birthday, Wilson! What a special way to ring in your 21st year!!
