Casey is a very talented musician involved in Dean’s Duets. I’ve had the honor of hearing him perform at several weddings over the last few years. When he reached out because he needed new headshots, I was so excited. I couldn’t wait to work with him and create portraits he could use to continue marketing […]
There will never be enough words to describe how it feels to work with families, like the Lynch family, for years. The Lynch family was one of my first clients when I began KDP. I grew up in church with Katie and her family, so getting to photograph them now is beyond special to me. […]
I love when people reach out to me with a new idea for portraits, especially when they’re as fun and playful as these 30th birthday portraits for Emily are! I’ve done anniversary portraits with Emily and her husband, DJ, a couple of times. I absolutely adore working with them both! Emily reached out to me […]
I absolutely love any chance I get to go to Richie Hill – and when Shannon reached out to me about photographing her sweet family there, I was over the moon! Shannon was my wedding planner and she’s incredible. This isn’t our first time doing family portraits together, but they’re always so fun. And I […]
A few months ago, I shared Janice and Matt’s maternity session as they prepared to welcome their baby boy to the world. Well, he’s arrived!! We had their lifestyle newborn session recently to officially welcome Hudson home and I am so excited to be sharing them with you all today!! As you know, Janice and […]
Today’s blog is a SUPER fun one! I’m sharing Wilson’s Great Gatsby birthday party at The Hotel Concord with you today. After a crazy year with very few events and celebrations, Wilson’s mom and family wanted to plan something special for him to celebrate his 21st birthday. They decided on a party at The Hotel […]
I am so excited to be sharing the Coggins Family on the blog today! Their Charlotte fall family portraits were a blast to capture. I actually grew up with Erin in the dance studio and then went on to photographer more special days for her. Over the years I captured her engagement session, bridal portraits, […]
When Macayla contacted me about doing her graduation portraits at NC State, I was thrilled!!! We actually met at our dance studio SO long ago! I believe we were about 4 or 5 years old when we met! So crazy! I hadn’t seen her in years and it was great to catch up not only with her, but with her sweet mom and aunt as well!
Believe it or not, I had never visited NC State’s campus! I’ve been to Raleigh quite a bit for weddings, but not really ever for portraits. Macayla actually gives tours of campus, so she was able to show me around like no one else would have been able to, and answer all of my questions! 🙂
