As a mom myself, I know how important newborn photos are! They’re the first family photos with your newest member – and they’re the best way (in my opinion) to document how tiny your sweet little baby is before they start growing… and that happens fast! I had the absolute joy of documenting Zoe’s first few days at home with her Charlotte lifestyle newborn session at home – with her parents and two sweet pups.

I personally feel like in-home newborn sessions are the best way to go when you’re ready to document your little one’s arrival. There’s something so meaningful about capturing your first family photos IN your home and the space that means the most to you. But, also – there’s way less stress. You don’t have to pack up the diaper bag with everything you need, hope you got your full outfit on and head to me. Instead, I come to you. It makes the entire process much more smooth. If your little one needs an outfit change, you’re in the nursery! If you need a break to nurse, we do it. It’s just way less stress on new parents, and I think in the end, the results are so beautiful and special. 

Zoe is the most beautiful little baby. She was perfectly content to snuggle up with her parents – and I could tell how in love with her they are. She’s adorable! It’d be impossible not to be! We spent most of the session in her nursery – capturing the little details that her parents chose so carefully for her space. Their pups, Riley and Milo, wanted to be involved too (which I am all for!!) and they were the SWEETEST! They were always concerned about where their new little sister was – and I loved capturing photos of everyone together.
