I absolutely love any chance I get to go to Richie Hill – and when Shannon reached out to me about photographing her sweet family there, I was over the moon! Shannon was my wedding planner and she’s incredible. This isn’t our first time doing family portraits together, but they’re always so fun. And I seriously think I love each session more and more! They picked this sweet Concord NC venue for their photos and I’m so happy they did. It worked perfectly for the three of them (and their pup!) as we photographed their Ritchie Hill family portraits.

Now that I’ve photographed Shannon and her family a few times, everyone’s pretty comfortable with me. I love that – because it means our session is just even more genuine and relaxed. Her son, Finn, has always been great for me. This time was no different! He was all smiles and we had a bunch of fun getting him to hug and goof off with his parents. Shannon also brought their new puppy along for their portraits and oh my goodness! She was just the sweetest. You can already tell that she and Finn have a great bond – it’s so special to watch.
