I met Elise and Chris in November for their downtown Davidson NC engagement session. We had such a great time! It had been awhile since I’d been in Davidson and it felt amazing to be back. We lucked out with an incredible day for their portraits and I loved getting to know Elise and Chris better before their April wedding at Separk Mansion (one of my favorites!). Today, I’m sharing some of my favorite moments from their fall session and I hope you love them as much as I do! 

Downtown Davidson NC Engagement Session

If you’ve never been to Davidson, I highly recommend a trip. Davidson is a college town and it’s just so beautiful. During Chris and Elise’s fall portraits, we were really able to capture that small-town vibe as we explored. We spent time on the campus and in town. I loved both of the outfits they chose too! They felt perfect for the fall weather (which was beautiful) and looked great against the red and yellow leaves all around us. Elise and Chris also brought their doodle, Olivia, for their portraits! She was so well-behaved and was just wonderful for their photos. I love when my couples bring their pups! It’s so much fun!! Elise and Chris are just so natural together, it was a gift to be able to photograph them.
