Lauren and Danny are getting married next April! I’m so excited to be working with them as their wedding photographer. We captured a beautiful and super chic engagement portrait session in Romare Bearden Park in Charlotte NC this summer to celebrate. I love getting work with my couples during engagement sessions, because we get to talk and catch up together. It’s always a great time. Lauren and Danny brought their sweet little girl along for our portraits, too, so we were able to capture new family photos at the same time! It was absolutely perfect!!

Chic Romare Bearden Park Engagement Session 

Romare Bearden Park is one of my favorite spots for engagement sessions in the city. It can be a busy location, though, especially when the sun is setting. As a photographer, I love this time of day so it’s worth finding little pockets of privacy for my couples around the park. Lauren and Danny (and their sweet baby girl!) were amazing for me, being so patient as we waited out people walking and enjoying the sunshine. 

Lauren and Danny went for a super chic, elevated look for their portraits. I have to admit, I absolutely LOVE the idea. Lauren wore a stylish white dress with an angled bodice and Dnany looked dapper in a blue suit jacket. They both looked incredible against the city park at sunset. They were the perfect outfits!!
