Hotel Concord Wedding with Spring Color Palette

Congratulations to Ellie and Andrew! Their romantic Hotel Concord wedding this spring was a dream to photograph. I’m so honored they chose me to document their big day. Ellie and I actually went to the same high school, a few years apart, and I’ve worked with her family. So when she reached out about her wedding day, I was absolutely ecstatic. She and Andrew are the sweetest so getting to work with them as they became husband and wife was just beyond special. Their wedding day made me feel so artistic – every detail inspired me!

A Southern Bridal Look

Ellie is absolutely stunning – and her wedding day was no exception. She is the definition of a classic southern bride! Her dress was custom made with lace from her grandmother’s dress, thanks to Emily Kotarski and you may recognize it from her bridal portraits! Ellie and her ladies got ready in a family friend’s home across the street. It was a beautiful historic home and a great spot to kickstart their wedding day.

Romantic Spring Wedding at the Hotel Concord

Ellie and Andrew decided to forgo a first look and instead, met at the altar at Central United Methodist Church. They had a sweet and traditional ceremony before the three of us explored a little bit of Downtown Concord for their wedding portraits. I LOVED playing with Ellie’s veil during our portraits together. It’s always so fun to capture movement in photos like that! Before long, it was time to head to the Hotel Concord for their reception. This hotel is one of my all-time favorite venues in NC. It’s just absolutely stunning!

The newlyweds kept a light, spring palette for their details including pinks, gold, and ivory. With flowers everywhere, the room came to life. Ellie and Andrew had a live band, which their guests loved – and the dance floor stayed packed all night. It was truly a joy-filled evening to celebrate Ellie and Andrew! Congratulations again!!
