Happy new year! I’m so excited to be kicking off the year by sharing some of the work I didn’t get a chance to before. It’s so much fun to dig around my files and pull out some of my favorite sessions… like Taylor and Todd’s Downtown Davidson NC engagement session! These two were married in 2019, but I’m SO excited to be sharing their engagement photos with you today. They’re just beautiful!

Taylor and Todd are seriously the sweetest souls. I lucked out again, feeling like fast friends with another KDP couple. I consider myself seriously lucky to have the clients I do! We laughed during their engagement session like we’d known each other for years and just had fun. What more could we want? It was actually funny -after Taylor and Todd had booked me, my husband AJ and I were guests at a wedding… turned out, it was a mutual friend of ours and Taylor and Todd’s. I only found out because I ran into Taylor in the ladies’ room! We hadn’t met yet in person but it was a funny introduction, and one that gave us a good laugh later. Taylor and Todd, thank you again – I LOVED working with you two!

Downtown Davidson NC Engagement Session

I REALLY love Downtown Davidson. When Taylor and Todd told me they were thinking about engagement photos here, I was thrilled!! Downtown Davidson is a beautiful area and there’s a ton of variety all within a short walking distance. It makes my job super easy and provides my couple with a simple, but gorgeous location that makes their final gallery even more special. Taylor and Todd brought two outfits with them and both looked great downtown. And we even lucked out with a gorgeous cherry blossom tree for some of their portraits! They might be my favorites!

Taylor and Todd tied the knot in St. Lucia after our engagement session. I’ll be sharing that with you soon – so keep your eyes peeled for that fun (and GORGEOUS!) international wedding!
