Taylor and Todd are back! Today I’m sharing their absolutely stunning St Lucia resort wedding! This incredible, once-in-a-lifetime experience was a true joy for me to capture. Taylor and Todd were originally going to get married near Charlotte, NC. After a little bit of soul searching and some hard discussions, they realized what they truly wanted was an intimate destination wedding. When they told me the change of plans AND asked me to come along to capture it all, I was so excited! This was my first international wedding (and not my last, I hope!) and I had the BEST time! AJ even got to tag along with me! It was a dream location, seriously, right on the Royalton Resort in St Lucia. 

St Lucia Resort Wedding

Taylor and Todd’s entire wedding day was just beautiful. They were married on a warm summer day in September and had the most gorgeous weather. I had the amazing luck to be able to explore all of the Royalton Resort in St Lucia throughout their wedding day. The day began in the spa, had a ceremony overlooking the resort and water, and a reception under the stars on the beach. It was beautiful in EVERY sense of the word. And Taylor and Todd? Just incredible. Taylor was an effortlessly gorgeous bride. She had the most natural makeup on and her hair looked gorgeous – I loved the updo for the beach! She looked beautiful and I know I wasn’t the only one who thought so!

They tied the knot overlooking the beach and then I stole them away for portraits around the beach and resort. We had the MOST gorgeous sunset that gave us the perfect glow for their portraits. It was a dream come true for this photographer!!

Intimate Beach Reception

Honestly, one of my favorite parts of Taylor and Todd’s wedding day was their beach reception. It was SO intimate and sweet. The resort put out a little dance floor for them and it was just perfect. They had a fantastic DJ onsite and the food was an amazing feast! I still think about it, ha! Everything about their day, especially the reception in the sand, was so stress-free and enjoyable. I know that Taylor and Todd had the time of their lives. I’m SO happy they followed their heart and did what felt right to THEM!

Taylor and Todd, thank you for asking me to come on this adventure of a lifetime with you. Your wedding day has truly been one of the highlights of my career. I loved watching two people as perfect for each other as you are say “I do”. Congratulations again!!!!
