Meet Julia and Ryan

I think all of my couples are sweet and fun, but Julia and Ryan are on another level! When I got to spend time with each of them during their Pilot Mountain engagement session, Julia’s bridals, and the wedding day, I just remember having such a wonderful time and laughing so much!

Choosing Pilot Mountain

Julia and Ryan are actually both very skilled rock climbers! That’s how they met, believe it or not! They chose to have a Pilot Mountain engagement session! If you’ve never been to Pilot Mountain it is definitely worth the trip! The top of the mountain looks like a knob, and you can walk all the way around the top of the knob. We started and ended with the spectacular views and in the middle we walked around the entire knob to get lots of different looks for their photos!

The Pilot Mountain Engagement Section

We found a beautiful section of the mountain that gets the perfect golden hour glowy light! They did a quick outfit change once the sun started setting and we went back to the breathtaking views. I have to admit that I get a little nervous when my couples go anywhere near the edge of a cliff, But I know I was way more nervous than Julia and Ryan because they are so used to the staggering heights while rock climbing!!! Pilot Mountain is a perfect spot for a beautiful engagement session, and the hiking is not strenuous at all!
