Waterfront Wedding at The Westin Savannah in Georgia

Congratulations, Alli and Connor! Their elegant waterfront wedding at The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa was one to remember. I had the honor of second shooting their elegant destination wedding in the heart of Savannah, GA, and it was such a joy from start to finish. Savannah is already one of my favorite places in the world (my husband and I actually honeymooned there!), so having the chance to capture another couple’s love story in this beautiful city was extra special.

Elegant Waterfront Wedding in Savannah, GA

There’s something so peaceful about a waterfront wedding, and The Westin Savannah provides the perfect setting. Located right along the Savannah River, the venue offers sweeping views of the water and the charming city skyline beyond. In fact, one of my favorite moments of the day was capturing their wedding portraits as the sun was going down over the river, and all the city lights in the background were reflecting off the water.

Alli and Connor’s ceremony took place outdoors, facing the river. The tranquil water and soft breeze created the dreamiest atmosphere as they exchanged their vows under a floral arch made of soft white and pink blooms. It was the perfect touch of romance. The couple’s joy was absolutely contagious and they couldn’t stop smiling at each other.

Romantic Savannah Riverfront Celebration

The couple chose a timeless color palette of soft blues, pinks, and whites with lush greenery woven throughout. The bridesmaids wore Southern blue dresses that tied everything together beautifully. Alli was a gorgeous bride in her strapless wedding gown with her soft, romantic bridal bouquet.

As the sun set over the river, guests mingled outdoors under string lights while the French doors to the ballroom stayed open. The dance floor came alive as Alli and Connor celebrated surrounded by their family and friends. The evening was filled with laughter, music, and pure joy. It was the perfect ending to an unforgettable day.

The Westin Savannah is truly a dream for couples planning a destination wedding in Georgia. Between the waterfront views, elegant indoor spaces, and nearby access to all that historic Savannah has to offer, it’s easy to see why so many couples choose to say “I do” here.
