Gaston Country Club Wedding in Gastonia NC

Capturing Molly and Dan’s Gaston Country Club wedding day was a dream. The forecast for the day of their wedding was calling for rain, but thankfully we had a beautiful day that led to a gorgeous sunset to end their evening. It was such a joy to be present and capture every part of this unforgettable celebration.

Molly works in interior design, and her incredible eye for detail was on full display throughout their wedding day. Every element felt elevated and intentional, from the classic black and white color palette to the pops of pink that added just the right amount of romance. The overall design felt modern, timeless, and effortlessly chic.

Intimate Ceremony & Golden Hour Portraits in Gastonia, NC

Molly and Dan exchanged vows at a family friend’s home, creating such a meaningful and personal ceremony setting. The intimate atmosphere made their ceremony feel incredibly special as they were surrounded by loved ones.

One of my favorite parts of the day was capturing their portraits, especially in front of the gorgeous stone wall. Those portraits are absolute favorites of mine. As the evening went on, Molly and Dan were able to enjoy their cocktail hour and still sneak away for some golden hour portraits where we soaked in the stunning sunset.

Elegant Reception at Gaston Country Club

The celebration continued at Gaston Country Club, where the sprawling grounds provided a beautiful backdrop for their reception. The space felt elegant and welcoming. It was the perfect place for their wedding night to unfold. White linens with black plates and napkins decorated the tablescapes

Their custom monogram was seamlessly woven throughout the day, appearing on the front of the bar, cocktail napkins, frosted cups, and even black koozie wedding favors. The bar also featured a large white bow that mirrored the elegant bow design on Molly’s wedding dress sleeves. These personal touches made the reception feel uniquely them and added such a polished, cohesive feel to the entire event. Molly and Dan poured so much thought into every design element, and it showed.

The toasts were full of laughter and heartfelt moments. They were funny, personal, and incredibly touching. It was one of those receptions where you could truly feel how loved Molly and Dan are by their people. The dance floor was full, the energy was high, and the joy was contagious all night long.
