Congratulations to the newest Mr. and Mrs.! I’m so happy I was a part of this gorgeous southern wedding day at Whitehead Manor in Charlotte NC for Kim and Ryan. Honestly, Kim and Ryan’s wedding was so refreshing! They were truly focused on their friends and family throughout the whole day and it was beautiful to witness.
Wedding at Whitehead Manor in Charlotte NC
I won’t lie, throughout the day, I had to stop and check that I wasn’t in Charleston or Savannah because Whitehead Manor reminded me so much of those gorgeous locations. Kim and Ryan took full advantage of this beautiful property throughout their wedding day. From preparing onsite to two first looks, the morning of their wedding was a dream! Kim planned a first look with her dad before heading down to their ceremony site for a first look with Ryan. This giant tree had to be my favorite part of their ceremony site! Definitely a Charleston vibe, right?!
Kim and Ryan enjoyed portraits with their bridal party and family before their actual ceremony. It’s one of the reasons I love doing first looks – extra portrait time before all the fun happens! Kim’s bridesmaids looked amazing in light blue gowns with their bright florals. I am obsessed with their florals – they were to die for and I loved all the color!! Kim and Ryan used similar variations to the girls’ bouquets on their reception tables and it was stunning. Flowers are such an underrated way to bring pops of color to your ceremony or reception setups.
I have to give a quick shoutout to Kim and Ryan’s officiant! Their officiant was truly one of the best I’ve ever worked with! Their ceremony was so personal and tailored to them that I thought she was a lifelong friend of theirs. It was so special to watch such a moving ceremony for my couple – and I know I wasn’t the only one who felt that way. The rest of the evening was spent celebrating with their friends and family under a clear tent on the lawn at Whitehead Manor. It was the perfect way to enjoy the evening stars and celebrate. Kim surprised everyone with a dress change during the reception – which was ideal for dancing and their getaway! It was SO cute!
Congratulations again, Kim and Ryan! I loved being a part of your special day and wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness together.
