Haley is my husband’s younger sister and I was so honored that she asked me to photograph her bridal portraits at the Graylyn Estate. We actually made a stop at Reynolda Gardens, too, because it’s right across the street from the estate. Honestly, it was so much fun to spend the afternoon with my sister-in-law and document her being the most beautiful bride ever!!
Bridal Portraits at the Graylyn Estate
It was important to Haley to do her bridal portraits at The Graylyn Estate because that’s where she was getting married just a few days after our session there. I love when brides do their bridal portraits at the venue they’re getting married at! It really relieves the pressure of capturing enough portraits on the morning of your wedding. And while I didn’t photograph Haley and Jake’s wedding day, I love knowing she has these gorgeous portraits forever.
I am so obsessed with Haley’s dress! She chose a stunning form-fitting gown with pearl detailing from the bodice to the skirt. I think my favorite part might have been the attachable train. It was PERFECT for capturing some truly romantic portraits of her walking down the stone staircase at the estate. So elegant and romantic! The gazebo was one of my other favorite stops at the estate, because of the way her skirt draped down the steps. Seriously, Haley looks absolutely incredible in every single portrait! We made sure to add in her elegant veil for the end of our portraits along the stone walls in the gardens.
The Graylyn Estate is simply stunning and truly made for the most romantic portraits! Haley, this is a memory I will treasure forever. Thank you for trusting me to document your beautiful bridal look. I am so happy for you and Jake!!
