I LOVE Reynolda Gardens! It’s one of my favorite venues in the Winston-Salem area, and while I’ve captured engagement sessions here, I’ve never done a bridal portrait session. So I was thrilled when Emory mentioned it for her bridal session! I met Emory through one of my past brides, Ellie, and everytime I’ve been with Emory, I just come to love her even more. She’s absolutely beautiful – inside and out! I’m so thrilled to be sharing her Reynolda Gardens bridal session today on the blog!

Reynolda Gardens Bridal Session 

One of the reasons I was excited to capture Emory’s bridal portraits at Reynolda Gardens was simply that there’s so many gorgeous spots throughout the property for photos! This time of year, all of the flowers were starting to bloom, which made it even better. There were tons of gorgeous and bright colors around the gardens. Emory looked amazing walking through it all in her classic wedding gown!

Emory’s timeless bridal look may be one of my favorites! I love how simple and elegant her wedding gown is. Plus, an updo makes every bride look amazing! She is carrying a simple bouquet of white hyacinths, which I love. Everything is understated but still so timeless. I’m seriously obsessed with how beautiful she is!! Emory even brought her veil so we could play with it and the wind obliged, helping us create some gorgeous windswept portraits! That’s one of the reasons I love bridal portraits – we can take our time creating images that you want and that might wind up feeling rushed on a busy wedding day!
