Congratulations, Lindsey and Kameron! I am so happy to be working with this beautiful couple. I had the joy of photographing Lindsey’s sister’s wedding in 2018 (hi, Olivia!), so it was extra special to be chosen by Lindsey and Kameron for their big day! I can’t wait to see their family again and work with everyone a second time. It truly makes wedding days more special when I get to spend the day with families and people I just adore. Anyway, Lindsey and Kameron met up with me this summer to capture their engagement session at Kameron’s childhood home in Kannapolis NC. 

Kannapolis NC Engagement Session at Childhood Home 

Like I said, Kameron invited me to spend the evening with them at his childhood home – which was so meaningful! The property is absolutely beautiful and was perfect for a late summer engagement session. There was so much green everywhere – from the beautiful landscaping, and their family even had a small dock and gazebo right along the water! Lindsey and Kameron were happy to just spend the evening walking around and showing me their favorite spots. 

During the session, we talked a lot about how Lindsey and Kameron have actually known each other since childhood, which gave another layer of meaning to the session taking place at his family’s home. I loved about small moments from their life growing up together. You know what else I loved?! Lindsey’s dresses! She chose some truly beautiful dresses for our session – and her blue and white floral print was probably my favorite! It was summery but still bride-inspired. I kept asking Kameron to spin her around because the way it flared out was perfect. 

Lindsey and Kameron, thank you so much for allowing me to come spend the afternoon with you. I had a wonderful time and I cannot wait to see you again on your wedding day! I know it’s going to be so special!
