Classic Winter Wedding at Separk Mansion | Emily & Eric

Weddings

January 23, 2024

I absolutely LOVE fall and winter weddings. There’s something about the colors that couples choose throughout that time of year, and Emily and Eric’s winter wedding at Separk Mansion was one of those beautiful days. Emily and Eric are a couple that you can immediately tell are meant to be together. They have a great sense of humor and a really special relationship. I feel lucky to be part of their circle – and to have captured this beautiful day!

Classic Separk Mansion Wedding

When I think of Emily and Eric’s wedding day, the first word that comes to mind is “classic”. They chose elegant colors of white, red, and pastel pinks – really leaning into the time of year. Everything from their invitations to Emily’s wedding dress was stunning and looked amazing inside Separk Mansion! Both Emily and Eric got ready onsite the morning of their wedding. I absolutely love the bridal suite at Separk Mansion. Before their ceremony, I made sure to capture some beautiful portraits of both Emily and Eric in their own spaces. As much as I love capturing my couples together, there’s something wonderful about documenting their own wedding looks!

Emily and Eric hosted their ceremony inside the mansion. As much as I love outdoor weddings at this property, the space inside is beautiful and super elegant. With big windows and a gorgeous chandelier, it’s always a wonderful option for winter weddings! I just have to give a shout out to the staff at Separk Mansion – they go above and beyond to make each event beautiful for couples!

At their reception, Emily and Eric had so many special touches. They had photos of their dogs on the napkins, which I always find so fun! During the speeches, Eric’s brother actually included 3 Cameo videos. He really knows Eric. Two were the actors that play Fred and George Weasley in Harry Potter films (Oliver and James Phelps), and one was from two of his favorite soccer players! It was super special and a great way to honor their memories as brothers. The rest of the night was a lot of fun – and Carolina DJs kept the dance floor full as the night wore on. Such a great party!

Congratulations again, Emily and Eric! There’s something so meaningful about watching couples who are so clearly meant to be together get married. It was an honor to be part of your December wedding!
