Fall Wedding at the Farm at Brusharbor | Karsen & Michael

Uncategorized

January 16, 2024

Congratulations, Karsen and Michael! I absolutely love this couple and their beautiful venue. Karsen and Michael’s wedding this fall was so elegant. I adored being a part of their wedding day at the Farm at Brusharbor. Karsen and Michael are so perfect together – like they’re in their own little beautiful world when they’re together, and their wedding day just felt like an extension of that.

Concord NC Wedding Day

I’ve known Karsen for a while – our moms taught together at the same high school, so seeing her as a bride was incredibly special to me. She’s such a wonderful person. Throughout her entire wedding day, she was concerned about everyone else –  not herself. It was just special to be in her orbit on their wedding day. Both Karsen and Michael prepared onsite at the Farm at Brusharbor with their wedding parties. I know the groomsmen had a good time with the pool table before the ceremony, ha! Karsen looked amazing as she got into her beautiful wedding gown with her ladies around her. She chose a dark red for their gowns, perfect for their late fall wedding day. When Karsen and Michael were both ready, they wanted to do a first touch, so we headed to the barn at the Farm at Brusharbor. There, they held hands around the barn door and spoke together before their ceremony. I always love first touches – it’s a great way to calm your nerves without giving away the big reveal!

Fall Wedding at the Farm at Brusharbor

Luckily, the day of Karsen and Michael’s wedding wasn’t too chilly. We were able to have their ceremony outside at the pavilion at the Farm at Brusharbor. Their ceremony was super sweet and I love that they brought red and white flowers into the space to decorate. With the classic historic teal truck nearby to welcome guests, Karsen walked down the aisle to meet Michael and then they were husband and wife!

After their ceremony, my favorite part of Karsen and Michael’s wedding day! We explored the property at the Farm at Brusharbor for their portraits. Karsen and Michael were just happy to be together. Their smiles were so genuine and happy. It was a blessing to see – I will never get over how special it is to capture my couples like that on the biggest day of their lives!

The night ended with their barn reception. Karsen and Michael used a white, green, and blue color palette to decorate the barn. I loved the greenery on every table – it brought such a fresh look to the place settings! One of my favorite parts of their reception was the little loaves of bread that Karsen and Michael gave as favors, which Karsen’s nana made! How special is that?! Karsen and Michael ended the night with a sparkler exit – the perfect way to wrap up their fall wedding day.

Congratulations again, Karsen and Michael! I’m so happy for you and I hope that married life is everything you dreamed it would be!
