Oh my goodness, I can’t wait for you to see Emily and Eric’s gorgeous Charlotte engagement portraits! These two are absolutely incredible – so sweet- and they had the best vision for their engagement portraits. Emily and Eric live in South End, but from the start, they knew they wanted to get dressed up and go Uptown for their photos! We focused on Romare Bearden Park and The Mint Museum for their session. Everything turned out more beautiful than we could have imagined – and now I get to share these portraits with you!
Uptown Charlotte Engagement Portraits
We started Emily and Eric’s portraits at the Mint Museum with a more casual look. They both looked so cozy and it wound up being a romantic start to our session. I always love working at the Mint Museum because it’s absolutely stunning to look at! Before we left, Emily and Eric changed into their fancy outfits. Let me just say: Emily and Eric BROUGHT their A-game for their portraits! I’m still obsessed with Emily’s bright red gown. It was such a bold colorful option to make their photos pop.
From there, we moved to Romare Bearden Park – stopping for a few portraits along the street. Romare Bearden Park has an incredible view of Charlotte’s skyline and some great features, like their water fountain that made it the perfect ending for Emily and Eric’s session. The cherry blossoms were starting to peek out, giving us some fun pink flowers to work with, too. We couldn’t have asked for a better day or location for their session!
Emily and Eric, I can’t wait for your Separk Mansion wedding this winter. I know it’s going to be elegant and classy – just like you and these sweet Charlotte engagement portraits.
