I’m SO excited to be sharing this gorgeous Uptown Charlotte engagement session with you today. As spring is blooming all around us, I’m just thrilled to be out shooting again and photographing my amazing couples. Kristin and Alex are one of my newest couples! They’ll be tying the knot in May, so we set out for their Uptown Charlotte engagement session to celebrate! I’m so glad they reached out – we connected thanks to a mutual friend. They’re both so warm and friendly, I loved every minute with them!

Uptown Charlotte Engagement Portraits

For Kristin and Alex’s Uptown Charlotte engagement photos, we focused on two of my favorite parks: Fourth Ward Park and Freedom Park. If you follow the blog at all, you know I absolutely adore these two places in Uptown. They both have their own vibes but they’re seriously perfect for a classic session here in Charlotte. Kristin and Alex have a great sense of style and chose the PERFECT outfits for the parks! I’m seriously obsessed with Kristin’s dress… not to mention her “serious” face. She could be a model! It was easy to see how much Kristin and Alex love each other. They’re just wonderful together, always making each other laugh. And they were total naturals in front of the camera. I bet their wedding portraits will be stunning!!

I can’t wait to celebrate their wedding day with them so soon. They’re getting married at Separk Mansion, another of my favorite places in Charlotte. Kristin and Alex are so sweet and I can only imagine their family and friends are too. I’m so excited to meet them all and celebrate! Congratulations again Kristin and Alex!
