Taryn and Ryan are some of the most stylish people I’ve ever known. We captured their stylish Charlotte engagement session at some of my favorite parks uptown and I had an amazing time with them. I love engagement sessions because I get to spend some time, uninterrupted, with my couples talking about all the things: weddings, love, relationships. And it’s even more fun when my couples bring their dogs along, too! I am SUCH a dog lover – so I’m always down for including your fur baby in your photos. Anyway, I can’t wait for you to see Taryn and Ryan’s portraits. I know your’e going to love them!

Stylish Charlotte Engagement Session

I spent the afternoon with Taryn and Ryan, plus their sweet dog, Bug to capture their engagement session! We explored a few of the parks in Uptown Charlotte, including Fourth Ward Park and Freedom Park. I absolutely LOVE both of these spots. They’re very different but both scream “Charlotte” to me. We enjoyed the quietness of Fourth Ward before heading towards the more exciting Freedom Park. No matter where we were though, it was easy to see how much Taryn and Ryan love each other. They had a ton of fun celebrating their engagement and showing off their sweet goldendoodle! Bug totally stole the show for a few shots, but I don’t think any of us minded.

Taryn and Ryan, thank you for allowing me to capture this special time for you! I still can’t get over how perfect you are and I can’t wait to celebrate your wedding day (and show it off here!) too! Congratulations!
