Iām thrilled to be sharing McKenzieās bridal portraits with you today! She and I met at The Farmstead in Concord, NC for her portraits. It was a great chance to celebrate her being a bride and capture some sweet portraits of her in her wedding gown. I loved getting to meet her parents and her pup, Ruggles. It was seriously the perfect day!Ā
Bridal Portraits at the Farmstead
During her bridal portraits, McKenzie shared with me that she had actually picked another wedding gown initially. She wound up changing her mind and getting the dress she has on in the portraits. Iām honestly glad she did – she looks absolutely stunning in this gown!! She would have looked beautiful in anything, but I think this one fits her perfectly! Her wedding gown is off-the-shoulders with a stunning lace corset bodice. I love how the lace runs into the skirt and I especially loved the slit in her skirt. Itās elegant but still so chic!
For her portraits, McKenzie brought a beautiful bouquet of white flowers and succulents. Her bouquet is a great accent for the gown she chose. I think itās fun – and I love the succulents!! Her parents also brought along her dog, Ruggles, so we could capture them together. Bridal portraits are a great time for moments like this. They allow us to spend time documenting your look, but also locations at your venue you might not have access to – or special guests, like your pet! Iām so glad that McKenzie thought to bring him along! Those are some of my favorite portraits of her (along with the dramatic ones in the windows of the Farmstead!).
McKenzie, you are a truly beautiful bride! I loved our time together and I hope you treasure these bridal portraits!!
See another recent bridal session!
