Graduation season has arrived! Each year, in May and December, I do a handful of senior portraits for college grads around the Charlotte area. I always love being on the campuses and feeling the excitement of all of the incredible students. UNC Charlotte is the closest major university where I live and it has the most gorgeous campus, so I’m always ready to say “yes” when I hear from a graduating senior! When Jackson reached out, I couldn’t wait to get his session on the calendar. He came to me with so many great ideas for his UNC Charlotte senior portraits. I knew it would be a blast! 

UNC Charlotte Senior Portraits

Jackson studied engineering during his time at UNCC. Like I mentioned, he was full of ideas of great locations around the campus. We started at the main entrance, by one of the big school signs and then moved onto the football field and main student quad. Everywhere he picked was absolutely perfect. We were able to capture so much of Jackson and his personality in the portraits, but we also managed to capture a lot of the essence of the campus itself. 

One of the things I love most about senior portrait sessions is getting to hear about a student’s experiences and achievements. Jackson certainly had much to share and I know he’s going to go on to do some really incredible things.
