Congratulations to Duke University’s newest graduate, Elise! The spring is always a fun time at Kevyn Dixon Photography because of senior sessions like this one. I love the chance to celebrate everyone’s hard work and document such a milestone as college graduation. Senior portraits are always so unique – even if I’ve been at the school before. Elise’s Duke University senior portraits were extra special because I got to capture her entire family alongside her for this celebration! 

Senior Session at Duke University 

Elise studied neuroscience and hopes to go to medical school soon – because she’s amazing. I loved hearing all about her time at Duke and her plans for the future as we walked around campus and found some of the popular spots. Her family joined in for her portraits at the beginning and so did her best friends. I loved that it mattered to her to have them all in her photos – such a special moment should be celebrated like this!! 

After spending time with her family, Elise and I moved to a spot where we could get the chapel in the background of her portraits. It’s one of the most popular and well-known views  at Duke University. There, she got to show off her cap and gown and even pop some champagne! It was a fantastic way to close this chapter of her life! 

Congratulations again, Elise! I can’t wait to see what’s next for you!!
