Jennifer and Kevin’s wedding day was special to me for so many reasons. First of all, their Uptown Charlotte wedding was the last one I photographed before beginning my maternity leave. The second was that Jennifer works at one of the BEST DJ companies in Charlotte: Carolina DJ Pros. I’m so honored that she chose me to photograph her beautiful wedding at the Terrace at Cedar Hill. Jennifer and Kevin’s wedding was so sweet – and stylish – and I’m thrilled to be sharing it with you today! 

Uptown Charlotte Wedding at the Terrace at Cedar Hill

Jennifer and Kevin planned a beautiful wedding at the Terrace at Cedar Hill. It’s such a great spot in Uptown Charlotte – you can actually see the Panthers stadium from the upper balcony at the Terrace at Cedar Hill. The city skyline was the perfect backdrop throughout the day for their portraits and cocktail hour. Jennifer and Kevin’s ceremony took place inside the Terrace at Cedar Hill with romantic candles surrounding where they stood to exchange vows. It was beautiful – but not as beautiful as Kevin’s daughters, who took part in their ceremony! 

Afterwards, Jennifer and Kevin held a beautiful reception in the space inside the Terrace at Cedar Hill. They had some really fun details – like a boat shaped wedding cake – and I LOVED photographing them all. Jennifer and Kevin chose an elegant color palette of light blue, gold, and white. I was honestly so obsessed with Jennifer’s bouquet. It was stunning with blue and white accents. She and Kevin really worked hard to bring a stylish and chic vibe to their celebration – and it paid off!  The entire day was so beautiful. I loved watching them be surrounded by their loved ones to celebrate. Hearing the speeches was also special for me because I work with Jennifer all the time! I LOVED hearing all the sweet things people had to say about her. She’s truly amazing! 

Congratulations again, Jennifer and Kevin! Your wedding day was absolutely stunning and I feel honored that I was there to capture it all for you!
