Erin & Tony’s Uptown Charlotte Wedding
Erin and Tony’s colorful uptown Charlotte wedding was one of my favorite Charlotte weddings I’ve done! Erin had a gorgeous vision that really came to life SO well with all of her amazing color choices! The Dunhill Hotel and Foundation For The Carolinas were the perfect spots for Erin and Tony.
Getting Ready for an Uptown Charlotte Wedding
The girls got ready for Erin and Tony’s big day at The Dunhill hotel in uptown Charlotte. It’s such a perfect spot to hang out with all of your best girlfriends and have a perfect view of the city! I love the fun champagne toast that Erin did with her bridesmaids at the hotel.
The guys got ready at the church, and we had a chance to do lots of beautiful photos before the ceremony! The church property had gorgeous green space for portraits! I mean, just look at those bridal portraits of Erin with her long flowing veil! Stunning! Tony looked so dapper in his classic black tuxedo!
The Ceremony
Erin and Tony’s wedding ceremony was so sweet and emotional. Not only did her father walk her down the aisle, he also officiated the ceremony! What a sweet way to celebrate. The church, with its white walls, was absolutely stunning for a sunny day. So much beautiful light was streaming through the windows! Erin and Tony pledged forever and walked out of the church with the biggest, brightest smiles!
The Reception
We had some time for bride and groom portraits at the church, then made our way to Foundation for the Carolinas for the remainder of photo time, and the reception! Some of my favorite photos of the day include Erin and Tony and their bridal party on the terrace at FFTC! The city skyline as a backdrop is one of the hallmarks of an uptown Charlotte wedding, so it was a must!
There were lots of laughs during the toasts given by Erin’s father, their maid of honor, and their best man. Once the DJ, Carolina DJ pros, started the party, pretty much everyone was out of their seat and on the dance floor! I have never seen a crowd dance so much and it made the rest of the evening so much fun.
The Exit
One of my favorite moments of the day was their super cute bubble exit with all of the city lights! Scroll to the bottom to see the beautiful black and white images from their exit. I must say, they are some of my favorite photos of the day!
