Colby and Adam’s Waxhaw, NC Downtown Engagement Session
Colby and Adam were supposed to be married on June 6, but they have postponed their wedding until August due to COVID-19! However, I am choosing to still celebrate them in June with a blog post about their downtown Waxhaw engagement session!
Before the Engagement Session
I usually meet my couples for the first time in person at their engagement session! It’s always so exciting to meet them, knowing that I am going to get to know them so well during their session. Colby and Adam chose downtown Waxhaw for their engagement session location!
Choosing Downtown Waxhaw, NC
This was exciting for me because I had never been to Waxhaw at all, much less for a photography session. The great thing about Waxhaw is that everything is so close together and within walking distance. We were able to get so many different looks just walking around a couple of blocks!
Engagement Session Outfit Style
Colby and Adam have great style! I loved Colby’s emerald green jumpsuit paired with Adam’s deep blue paisley shirt. Her hot pink dress was a stunner too!
At the Shoot
Right after Colby and Adam switched outfits, we actually witnessed a woman get hit by a car very close by! Thank goodness she was okay!!! It sounds crazy, and it was!!! Colby and Adam both work in the medical field, and they immediately sprung into action to make sure the woman was okay. It was amazing to see them use their gifts (even during their engagement session!) to help someone and bring her to safety!
I absolutely loved their unique downtown Waxhaw engagement session, and it makes me so excited for their wedding this August. They will be getting married at Ritchie Hill! I’m a little biased because I got married there, but I just think it’s the best venue!
