Michelle and Sawyer were just the sweetest couple ever! Their Washington Park anniversary portraits in downtown Charleston were a dream to photograph, too! There’s something so romantic about Charleston so I’m thrilled that Michelle and Sawyer asked me to capture their anniversary portraits here. 

Washington Park Anniversary Portraits 

For Michelle and Sawyer’s portraits, we decided to meet in Washington Park. This beautiful spot in Charleston is located downtown! The entire park was gorgeous with the red brick pathways and wrought iron fences. It just screamed “Charleston” to me – full of that southern elegance. Michelle wore the sweetest light blue gown that popped perfectly against all of the trees and gardens! She and Sawyer were so fun to photograph because they were easygoing but easily slipped into the romantic shots I was going for, too. 

After we explored the park, we wandered into downtown Charleston. Around the streets, we found a few cozy spots for more portraits along some of the historic homes and cobblestone streets. I seriously think Charleston is one of the most romantic spots for portraits like this!! There’s always something beautiful around the corner.
