Dinner Party Wedding: Tory and Colton

Capturing Tory and Colton’s wedding was SO special! After capturing their Uptown Charlotte engagement session, Tory’s Separk Mansion bridals and their lakeside rehearsal dinner, I couldn’t wait for their October wedding at Separk Mansion to arrive. Every moment with this couple has been absolutely wonderful and I feel honored they chose me to capture such a special time in their lives. We had a beautiful fall day to celebrate Tory and Colton with an intimate dinner party wedding day vibe!

Not only did I get to spend a day with two of my favorite people, but I got to enjoy a wedding day working with literally some of my favorite vendors ever!! From the moment I arrived and saw Tory and Colton’s classic details, I knew I was going to in for a special day. Before Tory met Colton for the first time, she had the sweetest first look with her dad on the beautiful staircase in Separk Mansion. It was absolutely adorable! Afterwards, she met with Colton for their first look in one of my favorite rooms of the mansion. Seriously, it was amazing. They couldn’t stop smiling and just looked SO happy to finally be getting married!!

Dinner Party Wedding

After their first look, it was time for their ceremony in the garden. Their families and friends gathered around them to watch them exchange vows and I LOVED watching Tory and Colton come up the aisle. They were thrilled to be husband and wife!! Honestly, that’s one of my favorite shots on any wedding day!! We explored more of the grounds before they headed in to meet their guests for their dinner party reception. Everyone had a wonderful time mingling during the reception and then watching all of the toasts and dances.

And can we talk about those floral details?! The floral arch around Tory and Colton’s table was STUNNING! Truly a showstopper by Julep Floral! Tory and Colton put so much heart and love into every detail of their wedding. One of my favorite moments was when Tory’s grandmother was looking at the photo table with all of the married couples in their families. Unfortunately, Tory’s grandfather passed away before he saw her married and her grandmother was looking at their photo. It brought me to tears and reminded me how important capturing these moments really can be. I know Tory and Colton were excited to have her – and all of their wonderful guests – with them to make these memories.

Congratulations again, Tory and Colton! I’m SO happy I got to see you become husband and wife!
