I am so excited to be sharing the Coggins Family on the blog today! Their Charlotte fall family portraits were a blast to capture. I actually grew up with Erin in the dance studio and then went on to photographer more special days for her. Over the years I captured her engagement session, bridal portraits, and wedding. And she’s also a fellow wedding vendor (Pretty Words!). Not only do I know Erin well, but I also did Emma’s senior portraits several years ago! It was fun to have her in front of my camera again! She is now back in France where she is studying international business, which is amazing. Seriously, this family is just a joy to work with. And I’m so thankful our paths have stayed so intertwined for the past few years!

Charlotte Fall Family Portraits

I don’t do family sessions very often, but the Coggins family made me want to do them more often. We had SUCH a great time!! I’m so thankful to have the opportunity to work with them – and have their support after all of these years. We met up in Pharr Mill Park here in Charlotte for their fall session. Can we just walk talk about the amazing color palette they chose?! I LOVE the pops of yellows and blues. They worked so well with all of the leaves around us.

I had a great time capturing this family together and also updated couples portraits of Todd and Stacie and Erin and Garren. Plus, they brought their sweet old gal Bella, a Havanese. I’m all about bringing your fur babies to your portrait sessions (or wedding days!). She was so sweet!!
