I can’t believe I haven’t shared Shelby & Justin’s engagement session until now! I met up with these two in downtown Kannapolis, North Carolina, and we took photos all around downtown and the NC Research Campus. I always love shooting there because there are so many gorgeous spots around the campus! Shelby and Justin have […]

Lily’s senior session was my first time shooting in downtown Davidson or at Davidson College! I had been wanting to do some type of shoot there for so long, so when she told me that’s where she wanted to shoot, I was so excited! Downtown Davidson has so much to offer–there are so many wonderful […]

The last time I blogged about this amazing styled shoot, it was simply to share Amber’s beautiful bridal portraits! Today, I’m sharing ALL of the pretty little details that came along with this shoot. We did this shoot in mid-July….so needless to say it was HOT, and HUMID! Thankfully, we had a fabulous team of […]

It’s not very often that I get to photograph senior guys, so it’s nice to have that opportunity every once in a while! I have known Stephen and his family for what feels like forever, so for Stephen to be a senior at Concord High School this year feels crazy! We went out to The […]

I’m so excited to be sharing Lauren’s gorgeous Senior Session on the blog today! When she told me that she wanted to do her Senior Session at the Botanical Gardens at UNC Charlotte, I couldn’t have been more excited about it! This was my first time shooting there, and goodness gracious was it beautiful or […]

I absolutely love what I do and I know I chose the right major from the start. However, what I’ve been running into is that this industry can and will turn me into something that I’m not if I am not careful. It can turn me into someone that craves attention, popularity, and material things, and I know that is not who I am called to be. Honestly, just about any industry can manipulate you if you aren’t strong enough to say “That’s not who I am.”

Bridal Portraits. It’s a Southern tradition. I love seeing a bride dressed up on her wedding day, looking in the mirror before going down the aisle and knowing how truly beautiful she is. She has chosen the perfect dress and glittering jewelry, her best friends and family members are surrounding her, and her groom is […]

I woke up on a Tuesday morning in mid-July so excited for Rylee’s Senior Session. We went out to The Orchard House, which will soon be a wedding venue, for her session. Everything about The Orchard House is adorable. There are pretty woodsy areas, a cute little garden, beautiful paths, and little buildings on the […]

I’m so happy to be sharing some of Raina’s Senior Session today! Some of the images from our time in downtown Concord are some of my favorite downtown Concord shots ever! The weather was perfectly overcast for a while…and then the bottom fell out. I’m talking torrential rain, booming thunder, and bolts upon bolts of lightning. […]

My senior session with morgan has quickly become one of my favorites! When her mom contacted me about doing a session, one of the first things she said was that Morgan wanted photos done at the piano in her church, and she would be wearing a purple gown. Um, count me in!!! Morgan was so […]
