Elegant Separk Mansion Wedding in Gastonia, NC

Tom and Rebecca are married! They hosted the most elegant and beautiful Separk Mansion wedding day in Gastonia, NC that I had the joy of photographing. Tom and Rebecca are fellow Appalachian State alums – we actually went at the same time but didn’t know each other, so it was extra special to capture their wedding day! Rebecca and Tom are so sweet and just a dream to be around. I’m so happy I could be with them!

Elegant Separk Mansion Wedding Day

Tom and Rebecca’s entire wedding day took place at Separk Mansion. Rebecca prepared with her bridesmaids (who looked amazing in light blue gowns). They helped her into her gown in the bridal suite at the mansion before we captured a few portraits outside. Rebecca’s bridal look was one of my favorites! Her wedding gown was STUNNING. The bodice had some really cool detailing and she carried an elegant bouquet of ivory flowers. She looked amazing and I know Tom thought so too.

Rebecca and Tom opted to meet during their ceremony for the first time. Needless to say, it was definitely an emotional moment for them both. I love that they held their ceremony outside at Separk, it’s one of my favorite spots for an outdoor garden ceremony in Charlotte.

Because the weather was so nice, they even held parts of their reception outside later on in the evening. Rebecca and Tom’s details were ivory, green, and gold – all so elegant as the stars came out and the party really began. I’m so obsessed with the color palette they chose – it’s definitely one of my favorites, especially in this space!
