There will never be enough words to describe how it feels to work with families, like the Lynch family, for years. The Lynch family was one of my first clients when I began KDP. I grew up in church with Katie and her family, so getting to photograph them now is beyond special to me. We planned a late fall family portrait session last year at Frank Liske Park in Concord, NC – and it was such a dream! The light was perfect, their outfits were amazing, and the weather was lovely, all of which made our session that much better. 

Frank Liske Park Family Portraits 

It’s crazy to be photographing the kiddos now. I remember when her first son was so tiny – and now he’s running around and is a great big brother to two younger siblings. The three kids were absolutely adorable our entire session at Frank Liske Park. They made my job so easy! Katie also wanted her parents to be involved in their photos, which I always love. Generational family photos are so important and special to me. I’m thrilled that we were able to include her mom and dad for new photos. 

Frank Liske Park turned out to be a great pick for their photos. We were able to capture both the fall colors and some bright greens with the scenery around us. I couldn’t resist the light soaked trees and brown leaves on the edge of the woods to start our session. It was the perfect spot! Katie and her family also chose some great outfits for the day. It was a wonderful combination of fall colors that worked beautifully together. A huge thank you to the Lynch family for asking me to capture new portraits for them. It was wonderful to see everyone again and I hope we’ll do it again soon!
