Jana, you are SO beautiful! I’m so excited to be sharing these incredible Sloan Park bridal portraits for Jana. This session was a blast to photograph – and I love the final results. Jana’s bridal portraits feel so earthy and natural, while still feeling elegant and timeless. I’m so happy I was able to capture her portraits since I won’t be at her wedding day because of my maternity leave. This session was definitely extra special to me! 

Sloan Park Bridal Portraits

For these bridal portraits, we found a sweet hidden gem of a park. Sloan Park is located a little bit away from Statesville and Salisbury but it’s truly worth it. Sloan Park is sooo dreamy! For Jana’s portraits, we loved the wooden bridge and the old buildings in the background. They served as a great option for her session. Sloan Park feels like something out of a fairytale. We had the most beautiful light the day of Jana’s session and I still can’t get over how everything came together. 

Jana is just a glowing bride! One of my associates will be shooting her wedding (I’ll be on maternity leave) and I am just so thrilled for her – she has been a joy to get to know! The day of her session, I also got to meet her sister who came along to help fluff her dress and toss her veil for some of the images. She was a great help and I loved spending the day with Jana. Plus, I got a little sneak peek at her wedding dress, since I won’t get to see it on her wedding day later this year! I’m absolutely obsessed with the sleeves on Jana’s gown. They might have been one of my favorite little details of the gown! Jana looked absolutely stunning through every photo and trusted me to help capture her incredible gown and bridal look.
