Congratulations, Rebecca and Hollis!! The newlyweds planned a gorgeous fall wedding day in Concord, NC between St James Lutheran Church and the Hotel Concord. The entire day felt so elegant and just perfect for Rebecca and Hollis. It was a joy to be a part of their day because I’ve actually known Hollis and his family for years. I photographed them several years back, plus I know them from within the Concord community. To watch him marry the woman of his dreams was so special! 

Concord NC Wedding Day

Rebecca and Hollis planned a seriously gorgeous wedding day. I’m so impressed because they’re both teachers and I know how demanding that work is! But, every detail was just perfect. From her bridesmaids’ gorgeous emerald gowns and firs to Rebecca’s classic wedding gown, as soon as I stepped into the bridal suite, I knew it was going to be a great day. Sometimes you can just feel it!! Rebecca and Hollis decided to meet for a first look before heading to the church. Hollis actually wrote Rebecca a poem to share during their first look. It was SO sweet! Afterwards, we were able to capture many of their portraits before the ceremony. 

The Hotel Concord Wedding Reception

After the ceremony was over, it was time to head towards the Hotel Concord. Rebecca and Hollis leaned into the cream and gold decor of the hotel – accenting it with more gold rimmed plates and greenery throughout the room. It looked amazing and so elegant!! They chose simple pink and white floral centerpieces alongside tall white candles to fill in the tables and I can’t get over how beautiful it really was. Rebecca and Hollis kept their guests busy, though, during the reception with a great dance floor. I had a great time watching everyone enjoy the party!!
