Spring Separk Mansion Wedding with Emerald Details

Congratulations to Elise and Chris! They’re officially husband and wife. Their April wedding at Separk Mansion was absolutely gorgeous and I’m thrilled that I was able to be with them to capture their special day. Elise and Chris are such an incredible couple. They have the biggest hearts – and I was so happy to see them again after their fall engagement photos in Davidson.

When I say Elise and Chris have the biggest hearts, I truly mean it. They were so welcoming to everyone who was attending and working on their wedding day. Elise is the kind of bride who was more concerned about everyone else than she was about herself. It’s just such an experience to be around people like these two!! Elise and Chris had a beautiful day and it definitely started with their sweet first look together. They met inside the mansion on the grand staircase, which is a dream spot for a first look honestly! I loved watching them realize they were getting married!

Spring Separk Mansion Wedding

Elise and Chris worked hard to bring their vision for their spring wedding day to life and it paid off! They planned an elegant and classic day at the Separk Mansion, which is seriously one of my favorite spots in all of NC to photograph. With emerald green bridesmaid dresses and pops of green throughout their reception, I love that they brought a fun bit of color to the mansion. The rest of their color palette was neutral, heavy with ivories and gold. It all looked amazing together. They also brought their personalities to their wedding day and honored their dog Olivia on the cake since she couldn’t be there in person! Finally, their reception was a blast! With lots of fun Spanish music and talented dancers, they really brought their A game for their guests.
