Kaitlyn and Brock are married! Their wedding day was just so relaxed and fun, which is exactly how they are as people and a couple. It was a true celebration about what was important to them and I loved every minute of their day. Kaitlyn and Brock had a simple church ceremony and a reception at Kaitlyn’s parents’ home in Yadkinville. It was seriously just a wonderful, stress-free day to celebrate the newlyweds and their new chapter of life together.

Intimate Winston Salem Wedding Day

Kaitlyn prepared for her wedding day at her parents’ home. I love when I get to visit places my couples grew up like this! It’s a really beautiful piece of their story and I’m always honored to be a part of it. From the moment I arrived, her bridesmaids were happy to see me and welcomed me like I was one of them! It was so special. Kaitlyn’s bridal look is SO classic and pretty. She even designed her own shoes for the big day – she’s a cheer coach! You’ll see what I mean when you scroll through the photos.

Wedding Ceremony & Reception

After she was ready, she and Brock exchanged letters during a first touch but didn’t see each other until the ceremony. Their ceremony was beautiful in a little white church just up the road from her parents’ home. It was absolutely stunning and had gorgeous light. And it wound up being the perfect backdrop for many of their portraits! Once all their portraits were done, the newlyweds enjoyed a carriage ride back to her parents’ house! What a sweet and romantic touch to their fairytale day.

The evening’s celebration was definitely a great time. What I loved most about Kaitlyn and Brock is that they focused on what they wanted for their day. That meant Greek food for dinner (uh, yum!!), a candy toss for the kids, and frozen custard for dessert! Everything was just so easy and perfect!! Congratulations again, Kaitlyn and Brock! Your day was just wonderful and I’m honored I was there to celebrate with you!!
