1812 Hitching Post Wedding

I’m throwing it back to one of my favorite couples and their super sweet wedding day at 1812 Hitching Post! You might recognize Lily and Devin from their engagement session here! After I captured their engagement photos at this beautiful venue, I couldn’t wait to come back for their wedding day. And, let me tell you: their day did not disappoint! They planned an intimate celebration with their closest family and friends, which I always love.

Lily is just such a classic bride. Honestly some of my favorite portraits from the entire day were of her under her veil. She looks absolutely stunning! It’s no surprise Devin couldn’t stop smiling at her all day. Lily and Devin are the best people to photograph because they’re just so in love and they wear their emotions on their sleeves. Watching them on their wedding day was so special. From their beautiful first look to their ceremony out on the lawn, there wasn’t a moment of this day that didn’t scream “them.” I’m ALL about wedding days that are what you want and focused on who you are.

Lily and Devin also chose to do a daytime wedding, which meant their entire event was wrapped up by about 5pm. It was a definite change from my long nights and typical receptions in the evening. They still had an amazing time with their guests and was another reminder that your day is about what you want!

Congratulations again, Lily and Devin! I’m beyond happy for you and I hope that you’re enjoying married life. Enjoy this little throwback to your sweet wedding day!
