Congratulations, Devyn and Michael! Their stunning Oceanic Restaurant wedding was my first wedding on the beach – and what a way to be the first! I absolutely loved every moment of this beach wedding day in Wilmington. There were so many beautiful spots everywhere you looked for portraits and Devyn and Michael were more than happy to indulge me. It was truly an incredible day from start to finish and I can’t wait for you to see it all! 

Devyn’s Beachy Bridal Look

Devyn and Michael got ready separately in two different condos on the beach. It was a great chance for them to connect with their family and friends before the day got truly busy and I could tell everyone was having a lot of fun together! Devyn had the most gorgeous relaxed bridal look! With a simple updo accented by a braid and lace details on the top of her gown, she looked just stunning. It was seriously the perfect look for a beach wedding. When she was ready, Devyn and Michael met for a first look not far from the private dock that I basically fell in love with during their portraits. 

Oceanic Restaurant Wedding

These two tied the knot on the pier with the water behind them and it was just beautiful! All of their guests loved the view too – I heard so many sweet comments being made about how it all looked. They held their reception inside the Oceanic Restaurant, and honestly, I think every single person there was on the dance floor having fun at one point! A bit into the reception, I took Devyn and Michael out to the beach for more portraits. The sun was setting and it was so romantic! We had a great light and the beach was almost empty. Definitely a good idea!! Some of my favorite photos of Devyn from the day were taken then too. Doesn’t she look amazing?!
