I first met Anna Britt and MacGregor through my campus ministry when we were at school at Appalachian State. Honestly, I was a little baby freshman Mountaineer when I met Anna Britt during our women’s retreat. I was only 18! So the fact that they trusted me and wanted to hire me for their wedding a few years later means SO much to me. And it was beyond special to see them both again during their Boone NC spring engagement session. We all love the mountains and so to enjoy a lovely spring day with them, celebrating their engagement, was just a dream come true!

Boone NC Spring Engagement Session

Anna Britt and MacGregor are SO easy to be around. They’re laid-back, relaxed, and just happy people. I loved the chance to catch up with them during their engagement session. We chatted all about their wedding plans and their honeymoon ideas too! Like AJ and me, they planned to go to Savannah for their honeymoon. We were actually married less than a month after them. What a small world!!

For their engagement session, we visited Moses Cone Manor and Thunder Hill Overlook. I just LOVE this spot. You might remember it from another engagement session in the fall (with some other college friends!). It’s a great spot for a view of the mountains and just romantic. We lucked out during Anna Britt and MacGregor’s engagement portraits with the most gorgeous spring light! And can we talk about Anna Britt’s dress?! Major “Notebook” vibes!!!!
