The Farm at Brusharbor Bridal Portraits

You guys… Kathryn is like my DREAM bride! She is one of the sweetest and most thoughtful brides I’ve ever had. Her joy and fun loving spirit are just contagious. I’m so excited to share these bridal portraits now that she’s finally Mrs. Wert!!!

Kathryn’s Bridal Look

One of my favorite things about bridal portraits in general, is that I get to sneak a peek of my bride’s look for her wedding day! I always get SO excited to see what style of dress they chose, how they styled their hair and makeup, and of course any special accessories! I love the simple style of Kathryn’s dress from Bluebird Bridal. The lace detail added so much, and I especially loved the dainty lace straps! Kathryn also chose to wear a tiara and simple jewelry, which I thought looked SO nice with her dress! Her shoes are Toms Disney slippers and they were so adorable! I loved her hairstyle choice too – she had the simple, yet elegant look down!!! 🙂

 

The Farm at Brusharbor

Kathryn chose to do her bridal portraits at her venue, and I am SO glad she did! I have done many weddings at The Farmstead, which is the sister venue right next door to The Farm at Brusharbor. However, this was my first visit for a portrait session at The Farm at Brusharbor! It was so fun to explore the property with Kathryn. We found a few absolutely PERFECT spots that got such a beautiful glow as the sun was setting. Some of my favorite shots are the ones after she put on her veil! It was the perfect length and material to toss and get some really beautiful movement! Kathryn is also a master of the “pop your eyes up at me” look! I seriously can’t get over how her eyes pop in these photos!

 

Kovu

Kovu is James’ dog! He was part of their engagement photos, bridal portraits, AND the wedding day! It was so fun for me to get to meet their fur baby not one but THREE times! I love animals, so anytime my clients want to include a pet is fine by me!!! 🙂 Kovu is such a cute (and well behaved) dog! He knew exactly how to pose for the camera! 😉 Kathryn’s sweet mom and brother were there to help, and get Kovu’s attention! I always love when family members come along to bridal portrait sessions. They can help toss the veil, hold flowers, or just be a cheerleader for the bride!!! 🙂
