Farmstead Bridal Portraits
Mary Catherine’s bridal portraits at The Farmstead were like something out of a dream!
Choosing to Do Bridal Portraits
I had just done Mary Catherine and Chris’s engagement session about two days before her bridal portraits! It was so fun to see her twice in one week! It’s always so fun for me to get a sneak peek of what my brides are going to look like before their actual wedding day.
Looking back on my own wedding planning process, I am so glad that I decided to do bridal portraits. It was so much fun, and I get that same feeling of excitement every time I get to do a bridal portrait session for one of my sweet brides!
The Farmstead
We arrived at The Farmstead in the early evening. Mary Catherine was already dressed to the nines when I arrived! Her mom and a couple other family members were there to assist with holding flowers, fluffing the dress, and of course tossing the veil!
We began Mary Catherine’s session behind the bridal suite house near the wooded area on the property. I always love this area in the evening because the sunlight comes through the trees so beautifully.
The Cathedral Length Veil
After that we moved on and went near the pond. This was probably my favorite location from the session! This is where we finally put on Mary Catherine‘s incredible veil and we had lots of fun with it!
Can you believe her veil is from AMAZON?! I think we got some of the most dramatic veil shots I’ve ever seen!!! My photographer heart was so happy!
A Sunset Bridal Session
To wrap up her beautiful bridal portrait session we crossed the bridge to the other side of the pond and got some beautiful glowing sunset photos. The sky ended up being a beautiful golden pink for the end of her session and I am obsessed with every image!
I am so excited to share Mary Catherine and Chris’s wedding at The Farmstead next week!
