A McGill Rose Garden Engagement

I had the pleasure of meeting Carly and Dan at their engagement session at McGill Rose Garden in Charlotte, North Carolina. We met up in January for a fun but extremely cold winter session! It’s crazy to be sharing their session in the summer just before their wedding, because their engagement session was in extreme cold, but their wedding will be in extreme heat most likely! I’m hoping for a cool day! 🙂 

How They Met

Carly and Dan actually met on Bumble in the summer of 2018. A lot of my clients actually meet online and I think it’s pretty cool! Neither one of them are actually from Charlotte but they both moved to Charlotte and have lived in the area for quite some time! 

Norfolk Hall Wedding

They have a beautiful vision for their wedding day at Norfolk Hall – minimal, simple, and classy. That really speaks to me so I can’t wait!!! 

A Winter Engagement

They got engaged in December 2019 in Uptown Charlotte. I think a Christmastime engagement would be so special and sweet! And the McGill Rose Gardens was the perfect location spot even for winter!

I can’t wait to celebrate their wedding this weekend at Norfolk Hall! Sure, some adjustments had to be made because of the pandemic… but they are still getting married, and it is going to be a beautiful day!!!  They have such sweet personalities and I can already tell that there is a lot of love surrounding them. Congratulations Carly and Dan! I can’t wait to see you as newlyweds!
