The Farmstead Engagement Session
Blair and Zach are such a sweet and happy couple! I had the honor of getting to know them at their spring-summer engagement session at the Farmstead in Mount Pleasant, North Carolina.
Choosing the Farmstead
Blair and Zach currently live in Louisville, Kentucky but a lot of their family is in North Carolina, so that is why they chose to get married here. The Farmstead is truly one of my favorite venues! Not only are the people absolutely wonderful to work with, but the property is so spacious! There are so many amazing spots on the property for photos. From the pretty forest areas, to the bridge crossing the pond, you really never run out of options here!
We decided to do Blair and Zach’s Farmstead engagement session in the evening because we wanted to avoid the heat and get that gorgeous golden light!
How Blair and Zach Met
Blair used to be a teacher in North Carolina, and she is now in seminary in Louisville! She met Zach in a small group last October, and less than a year later they are engaged and about to get married!
A Coronavirus Wedding
Like all couples in 2020, their original wedding plans have been affected by the coronavirus and they have gotten so creative with how they plan to handle their wedding! They will be bringing back the sweet wedding tradition of the post ceremony receiving line and I can’t wait for that moment during their wedding day!
I know that their wedding is going to be so sweet and joyful and definitely one for the books. I can’t wait to share their wedding with you very soon!
