Classic Bridal Portraits at Separk Mansion

I am so lucky to work with the most beautiful brides! Bailey is no exception. This year, I had the chance to capture her elegant and classic bridal portraits at Separk Mansion. She’s getting married in early April, so I’m thrilled we had the chance to meet up and document her elegant and timeless bridal look.

Classic Bridal Look

Bailey chose such an elegant look for her wedding day! Her Justin Alexander gown is stunning and I personally loved the ruching at the top of the gown, along with the jeweled belt. Paired with a classic veil with floral accents along the edge, she is such a gorgeous bride-to-be! The best part? Her dress has pockets!! You brides know what I’m talking about, ha! Bailey also brought a mockup of her bridal bouquet to our portrait session and I LOVE it! It will be perfect for an early spring wedding – filled with a mix of daisies, roses, baby’s breath and greenery.

Bridal Portraits at Separk Mansion

Separk Mansion is always a beautiful choice for bridal portraits in Charlotte NC. The mansion itself is lovely – both inside and out, and we always have a great variety of locations to capture a bride’s portraits. For Bailey’s bridal session, we focused mostly on the interior of the house. She prepared and we started in the bridal suite but we also spent time on the main staircase and in the tile room (with my favorite black and white tiles!). Separk Mansion has so much natural light, it’s truly a photographer’s dream. We ended Bailey’s portrait session on the edge of the gardens, with her veil blowing in the wind. I always love when my brides bring their veils – I think they’re some of the most fun photos we capture!
