Congratulations, Madison and Rick! These two sweethearts are getting married next October and we celebrated with their gorgeous Midtown Park engagement portraits. Madison and Rick got engaged this summer on their trip to Italy, so I loved that aspects of Midtown Park echoed the European vibes in their love story. It was so much fun to get to know Madison and Rick better!

Engagement Portraits in Midtown Park

This wasn’t my first engagement session at Midtown Park because I frankly love it here so much! The park blends urban and natural elements for a romantic backdrop. Plus, it’s easy to access and simply stunning. I love that we can get both green spaces and city views all in this little spot in Charlotte NC. Madison and Rick chose two different outfits that worked perfectly in the space and I am honestly a little bit obsessed with Madison’s dress! It was like so many I found and shared on my Amazon favs list – photographed well and the movement the skirt created in their photos was so fun. Madison and Rick also brought their adorable little dog – and we had a blast capturing all three of them together.

It’s so easy to see that Madison and Rick are perfect for each other. I know that planning a wedding can get stressful so I hope that they look back on these photos and smile! Congratulations again, you two! I can’t wait to see you in the fall!
